Hi everyone,

I'm not posting too much. I'm following a bit the theory shown on this forum but I'm more a bench guy. So after many tests, I stumble on something that I considerate personally as major for everyone in the radiant energy field. I will try to be short and simple.

We start with the classic circuit of collapsing a magnetic field and collecting the radiant spike in a capacitor (or a battery). Nothing new here. But where is the novelty, is using a second coil inline at the negative side of the output capacitor. By doing this, you will double your output, without affecting the input. Here is a quick and dirty schematic to explain what I mean:

And here is the video to explain and show the effect:

Again, you need to respect the polarity of the second coil. Because with the right polarity, you will double your output. With the wrong polarity, you will divide by two your output.

Also, this effect happen only on the negative side of the output capacitor. It will not happen on the positive side of the capacitor.

It's like using partnered coils but you don't want to "cancel" the inductive part of it, you want to increase and helping it.

If anyone would like to make a clean copy of my drawing, it will probably be useful for all. And yes, I should have said "Hz" and not "Khz" at 3:09 in the video

I did several other tests concerning this if anyone wants to go deeper in it. I also added a poll to see if people are interested and if I should invest/post more with you on this...

Cheers!

hello everyone

I have tried a replication of Anothercat's work and I think it has partially succeeded but I must confirm if they are on the subject. I did this although this is very well known. Let's not forget that this is Tesla's coil and the operation and properties of this coil have been and are also being studied in all profile environments. I can't find the link now, but a few years ago a Russian gentleman managed to light a 100 watt incandescent bulb with a Tesla pancake coil.

It is to be appreciated that from time to time some of us return to Tesla's inventions.

I congratulate my colleague Anothercat for this and especially because he found how to use two of these reels to double production.

Hey Anothercat,

Nice work, great to see progress! Thank You for sharing!

Normally I would just give you a Thumbs Up and a Star for showing your work, but wanted to comment also to express my appreciation for your contributions here on this forum! Great to see others moving ahead!

Best wishes,

Circuit diagram easier to use.

Hi Fighter,
Thanks for the great words.

So this bifilar it's built to be simple, easy to build and cheap.

This particular one is made out of 18AWG speaker wire, 20 feet long. Make a sticky floor of packing tape (the brown packing tape on the picture sticky side facing up), use an empty toilet roll to start the first 3 turns and off you go. You will have one ready in less than 10 minutes. The two coils in it are one over the other (not on the same level).

This coil has a self inductance of approx. 41mH. After made my connections, I'm taping the top and that's pretty much it.

Here is another picture of a big radiant charger that I use for my (6) deep cycle 12v 200AH lead acid batteries

Cheers!

Hello Baerndorfer,

Could you please elaborate a bit on the dangerous aspect of the voltage difference please? I understand the concept of separating the wires when we play with higher voltage (KVs range) but for now I'm reaching 910v with 80ma @ 12v.... I'm quite confident that my fets and my wire insulators will handle that. If I'm spacing the coils, the effect reduces.

Also, Stand_by redraw a cleaner version of my earlier drawing. So that is the circuit that I'm using in my earlier video. I'm a bit confused.... Maybe I'm missing something...

I'm following Master Ivo with great interest. I like his approach (theory and bench ... both of the best world). This said, I'm not presently in tesla hairpin experiments.

I guess one of the point I wanted to make with this post is that partnered coils coupled with transient discharges can be used also in an inductive way with great benefits.

Cheers

so i made this pancake coil and use it at resonance condition.

you can see how i did the 'transmission lines'

as i did my tests the circuit stoped working at 2kV. it took me hours to find the problem. the wire inside the coil was broken exactly at the center where the distance between the wires are too less. i use 1.5mm loudspeaker wire..

and yes! i messed it up with the names in my last post. sorry for that cool (think i inhaled too much..) your drawings and tests are superb!

greetings laughing

Interesting finding, congratulations ! Absolutely, you should continue with your research on this !

Could you provide more details about the pancake coils ? Are they classical Tesla bifilar pancake coils like this ?

Are you using solid copper wire or multifilar wire like speaker wire ? What gauge and how many turns ?

Unfortunately I don't have too much time for experimenting right now but this info could useful for me later and also for other guys who can try to replicate it now.

Thanks !

The diode should be replaced with a fast one, as shown in the picture. The voltage goes up a lot and should not cause problems for different configurations

great work guys

i want to add something to your bifilar-coil-discussion. if you plan to make the coil like @anothercat show it on the first picture you will run into problems because the voltage difference between IN and OUT from the coil can be extremely high. therefore it is a good idea to separate the wires like tesla showed on his drawings (@fighter provided this)

if you follow the circuit from @stand_by you will get good results. if you plan to COUPLE these coils they will perform much better with less input. There is a guy on Youtube (Master Ivo) which did a lot of research too on these coils and describes the method of coupling in great detail.

regards!

What is a Scalar:

In physics, scalars are physical quantities that are unaffected by changes to a vector space basis. Scalars are often accompanied by units of measurement, as in "10 cm". Examples of scalar quantities are mass, distance, charge, volume, time, speed, and the magnitude of physical vectors in general.

You need to forget the Non-Sense that some spout with out knowing the actual Definition of the word Scalar! Some people talk absolute Bull Sh*t!

The pressure P in the formula P = pgh, pgh is a scalar that tells you the amount of this squashing force per unit area in a fluid.

A Scalar, having both direction and magnitude, can be anything! The Magnetic Field, a Charge moving, yet some Numb Nuts think it means Magic Science!

The great Nikola Tesla:

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. This idea is not novel. Men have been led to it long ago by instinct or reason. It has been expressed in many ways, and in many places, in the history of old and new. We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who drives power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians, and in many hints and statements of thinkers of the present time. Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static, our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature.
