The Frequency Conundrum

Not all frequencies are created equal. Should I create a device and want it to resonate at a low frequency I must use a large capacitance which must be charged and discharged. If it resonates at a high frequency, I must expend energy to switch and low values for RC time constant timing bleeds energy due the need to use low resistance. The low C component also makes the device more unstable since small changes in capacitance will throw it out of resonance. If my device dictates its own resonant frequency then I must invest time trying to learn to build adjustable frequency circuits which will invariably require changing capacitors or resistances to address component specific variance that changes over frequency.

Let's call this the frequency conundrum. Is there a frequency or range of frequencies which because of natural laws consume less power and require less capacitance for commonly encountered inductance? Assuming that the natural laws of the Universe aren't entirely linear this is the frequency I'd like to target. By standardizing my devices on an efficient frequency I can design circuits that are naturally more efficient.

Very true, Tesla found that certain frequencies were better for heat production and others better for light production even creating a breeze in your house ect.....

finding the right frequency for your projected outcome would definitely be to ones advantage thus the standardizing of the frequencies would be a good idea.

Here lies the problem, who has the equipment to get the frequencies to the height of the master Tesla and it would seam to me that would be the first hurtle to overcome.

other than that it is a good idea to mimic natures frequencies as Tesla and others did so many times. connecting to the wheel work of nature is the real oyster.

Hi my Friends, this is a very good Thread, a topic I have touched upon in other Threads:

I have found Series Resonant, better than Parallel Resonant, but I have used both and sometimes both at the same time which provides an interesting configuration. 

  • Series Resonance
    • Minimum Impedance at Resonance
  • Parallel Resonance
    • Maximum Impedance at Resonance

I urge, do not limit ones self, there are many many configurations that will work, so as Flexible as possible will always be better!

The properties of a Coil can be a hand full to grasp, and the fact that these properties change during operation also a hand full to grasp.

The Coils Impedance, Distributed Capacitance, Inductive Reactance, Capacitive Reactance, DC Resistance, and how all these factors interact together at different times to give different results are a lot to grasp, but this is not really necessary to grasp...

I think, from my understanding, and I am still learning, always will, that we should aim for the least total impedance, which does not mean as few turns as possible! It means aim towards 'generating' or aiming for the maximum Negative Power Factor as possible!

Where the Power Factor is taken at the Terminals of Each Coil individually. 

 

I often look back on my experiences at the 'other' forums and I honestly think that many of the so called, and self proclaimed, 'gurus' were either fake or stupid... I think most all of us would agree!

Very good question!

Before doing all my practical experiments I often asked myself this question.

Don Smith and many others before him have I believe discovered this frequency usable for our experiments that would make sense on how often would it be most useful for inventors who have discovered this secret before us?

I think I'm on the right track with that makes sense compared to what I found.

North of the hemisphere of our planet earth (Canada), it has two dominant frequencies of space. It may seem a little crazy what I'm going to tell you but these two frequencies are 45 MHz and 408 MHz. I am fortunate to have a monitor service that I use for the radiocommunication service and I can tell you that at these two frequencies when I synthesize one of these two frequencies I get a maximum and very powerful reception. There is no station or network at these 2 frequencies, I check in the databases of my country. 

Before going further, I have attached a document as an attached file that you will read and I hope you will give me your comments, For now I use the frequency 45 Mhz which seems to correspond perfectly with the E.E.S. 2 from Don Smith.
